We Need a Fresh Start
We are not here to save your building. We are here to rescue the mission it was built for.
Almost nobody knows what year their church is in. Every church sits somewhere on a life cycle, and almost none of them can see where. The budget still balances, the doors still open, the same forty people still show up. So it feels like a slow season rather than the end of one. By the time it is obvious to everybody, the options are mostly gone.
You are not behind for asking the question. You are early, and early is the whole advantage.
Three Stages of Holy Desperation
Before a church walks the 12 Markers, it has to cross three thresholds. No plan works until these do.
Awakening Holy Desperation
The moment a church stops protecting what was and admits the runway is gone. Nothing else starts until this does.
Humble Release
Leaders and members open their hands. Governance, preferences, and ownership are laid down so something new can be received.
Crossing the Bridge
The church steps onto a new life cycle: a partner church, new leadership, a new identity, and a relaunch that reaches its community.
Go Deeper
Where the line actually sits.
The white papers lay out the research underneath all of this. Where revitalization stops working, where replanting begins, and what tends to happen to churches on either side of that line.
Not Alone In It
No church crosses this by itself.
A partner church, a trained pastor, and a coach who has walked it before. That is what makes these endings into beginnings instead of a For Sale sign in the yard.
